Manchester United head to Stamford Bridge tomorrow night, in a fixture that was always going to be a tough challenge. Jose Mourinho would obviously want to go to his old stomping ground and put in a commanding performance whilst coming away with a victory – however, things have just got harder.
It started when the Manchester Evening News reportedly couldn’t spot any of Wayne Rooney, Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford with the rest of the squad.
Then, the BBC, namely Simon Stone got involved as he took to Twitter to confirm the massive disappointment. The journalist tweeted that Wayne Rooney is out of the match after a collision with Phil Jones, Anthony Martial is injured whereas Marcus Rashford is suffering with an illness.
When you factor in that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is banned, it really does leave us so light in the final third of the field. Honestly, I have no idea how the manager is going to play this one at all. Perhaps the best option is to give Henrikh Mkhitaryan a chance with his pace, because failing that I’m genuinely unsure as to what other options we have.
It will certainly make interesting viewing come kick-off time tomorrow, and I guess we don’t have long to wait.

Wayne Rooney out of @ManUtd game at Chelsea after coming off worse in training ground collision with Phil Jones. No blame to Jones.
