Manchester United monitoring French striker ahead of summer move

Manchester United’s biggest problem this season has been the ability to stick the ball in the back of the net. At times, our attack has looked toothless, and Louis van Gaal clearly has a plan to try and solve that this summer.

According to the French media outlet L’Equipe, Manchester United are monitoring the situation of Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette, who could well be on the move this summer.

The 24-year old is another French starlet who has been impressing this season, and his stock on the footballing world has certainly risen over the last few years.

There is no doubt that his style of play would be perfectly suited to Manchester United. He has pace to burn, the ability to create chances for himself as well as an excellent eye for goal. All that would come at a cost however, and it would probably stunt the development of young Marcus Rashford.
