Manchester United Football Club will have plenty of money at their disposal this summer, whoever the man in charge may be. Planning for the transfer window will already be well underway, with Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain high on the list of priorities.
ESPN say that Manchester United are monitoring Oxlade-Chamberlain’s situation at the Emirates, with the England international considering leaving North London due to a lack of playing time.
He is still just twenty-two years of age, and when fit, he has an awful lot to offer any side in the Premier League. Louis van Gaal will certainly be a fan of his versatility too, as he is able to play on either wing, as well as through the middle if needed.
Arsenal would obviously prefer to sell Oxlade-Chamberlain abroad rather than to an English club, but you’d imagine the player himself would love to remain in the Premier League, preferably at a club competition for honours year-in year-out.
