Manchester United negotiating deal for starlet to leave on loan

Manchester United’s summer transfer window was one of relative success, with Louis van Gaal plugging many holes in the squad, whilst letting plenty of dead wood leave the club on permanent deals. One area that could still do with work is the striker role, and our situation could be about to get worse.

According to the Daily Star, Manchester United and Celtic FC are in talks about a potential loan move for James Wilson, who has rarely featured under Louis van Gaal since storming onto the scene a couple of years ago.

A loan move for Wilson has certainly been in the offing for a few weeks now, but there will always be the issue if Manchester United get a couple of injuries in that position, we could be left incredibly short.

There is that dilemma though, as James Wilson is approaching that age where he needs to be playing football on a regular basis, and it seems that Louis van Gaal is still undecided on the 19-year old after leaving him out of the side that took on Ipswich Town in the Capital One Cup.
