Manchester United Football Club are taking on Hull City this evening, with Jose Mourinho naming a strong starting eleven for the game, presumably in the hope of putting the tie to bed before the second leg. However, there was one notable omission from the match day squad.
The man who missed out was Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and shortly after the squad was announced, Manchester United’s official Twitter account confirmed that the 35-year-old is missing due to an illness.

This is a slight concern. He’s been our star man so far this season, and has scored so many crucial goals already. With Liverpool on the horizon, it is worrying that he is feeling a bit under the weather.
Hopefully, this isn’t too serious and we’ll see him back in action at the weekend fully fit and firing, because he is the kind of player who can change the game in your sides favour with one bit of individual brilliance.
You’d imagine that Manchester United have enough firepower to get past Hull City without him, especially with the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Marcus Rashford and Wayne Rooney on the field.
