As a result of the bomb scare at Old Trafford yesterday before the AFC Bournemouth clash, the club are offering FREE entry to the game for all match ticket holders. This is the least the club can do, after travelling fans could have spent a fortune to make it to the match yesterday.
The club sent on an email to Season Ticket holders, claiming that they will refund everyone who held a match day ticket or season ticket back onto the card in which they paid on.
Manchester United Football Club dealt with the issue extremely well yesterday, and huge credit has to go to everyone involved. The stewards acted decisively and quickly, as did the police and other armed forces.
Given the circumstances, you’d imagine Old Trafford’s atmosphere will be like a damp squib tomorrow. There is absolutely nothing riding on the game now, due to the fact that City did enough to make it into the Champions League. When you couple that with the FA Cup final looming, I’d expect Louis van Gaal to ring the changes and give some youngsters a go.
