Well, it was a long time coming but Manchester United confirmed that they have a deal in place to bring in Victor Lindelof from SL Benfica. The 22-year-old centre-half will be Jose Mourinho’s first signing of the summer, but there could well be another new name coming through the Old Trafford entrance doors pretty quickly.
That man is AS Monaca star, Fabinho. The Brazilian midfielder should be next to be announced by United, as per Brazilian journalist Bruno Andrade.

Fabinho, has been linked with a potential move to both Manchester United and Manchester City, with the two heavyweights in battle to sign the versatile 23-year-old. However, if Andrade is correct, it looks as though the red side of the city have got their man.
In my opinion, Fabinho would be the perfect signing to complete our midfield trio. Alongside Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera, the Brazilian would be tasked with doing the dirty work of breaking up the play and getting the Red Devils back on the front foot.
He’s quick, strong in the tackle, a brilliant passer and has plenty of pace. I just think he has been the type of play that we’ve been crying out for – and to hear that we’re leading the way to sign him is music to my ears.
Now it is down to Edward Woodward to dig deep into his pockets and get Fabinho to the Theatre of Dreams.
