Manchester United opponent digs knife in about current style of play

Manchester United slumped to their third 0-0 draw in a row at the weekend, as Crystal Palace led by Alan Pardew put in a spirited performance and in the end they could probably count themselves as unfortunate as they didn’t secure all three.

One of their key men at the weekend was the influential Yohan Cabaye, and he has had his say on United’s current style of play.

“I played against MUFC for Newcastle they could score at every moment in a game. Here they did not have the big chances to score.” Yohan Cabaye said.

You can’t really argue with what he’s said either. Manchester United’s current style of play isn’t entertaining to watch and the opponents must absolutely love playing against it. Its static, stagnant and all way in front of the opposing back four meaning its quite easy to defend against.

Cabaye did go on to praise his international teammate however:

“Martial will be a special player for the PL. He could play centre forward or as a winger. He has got the quality.”
