Manchester United’s currently injury-hit squad could receive a much-needed boost ahead of the Crystal Palace. According to the usually reliable injury experts Physio Room, Radamel Falcao and Jonny Evans could be available for selection, and at Louis van Gaal’s disposal for the game at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The return of Jonny Evans in particular couldn’t be more timely – with United only having youngsters fit and ready in the defence. Evans certainly needs a long run in the Manchester United side, because there is no doubt that he is our best centre-back on his day, but the problem is that his day doesn’t come anywhere often enough because he has been blighted by injury.
Radamel Falcao is back too, and that’ll certainly increase the pressure on a tired looking Robin van Persie. However, Falcao’s injury record is still yet to be proven, and hopefully the Columbian can now remain injury-free for at least a couple of months and get some quality game-time under his belt.
