Manchester United Football Club will be without the services of Luke Shaw for pretty-much the whole campaign after his horrific leg-break he suffered away at PSV, and it looks as though Louis van Gaal isn’t messing around as he’s already eyeing up a replacement.
According to Super Deporte, Manchester United could try to sign €50m rated Valencia left-back Jose Gaya as early as January.
Gaya, 20, broke into the Valencia team last season and played over thirty times for the Liga BBVA side, and has emerged as one of the hottest talents in the game.
Despite how gifted he is, you feel that in the long-term this could eventually hamper the development of Luke Shaw. Both players are 20 and only one of them can start week-in week-out – and personally I’d prefer us to stick with Shaw, particularly as he’s English.
