Manchester United haven’t really had a productive January transfer window, with Louis van Gaal clearly intent on waiting until the summer to do the majority of his transfer business. The Dutchman will still be identifying targets however, and one man who seems to be a high priority is Toni Kroos.
The German midfielder is being lined up for a summer transfer, according to Portuguese newspaper A’Bola. If Manchester United can somehow persuade the 26-year old to join and make the move to Old Trafford, he’d surely cost an awful lot of money.
It’ll also take some persuading to make Real Madrid sell one of their integral players, who has been a mainstay in their midfield this season. Also when you factor in that they now have a two transfer window ban, they wouldn’t be able to replace him until next summer at the very earliest.
