Manchester United Football Club still have a couple of games left to play in this campaign, but the board and hierarchy are already planning for next season. The transfer window is close to opening now, and as you’d imagine, the rumours are beginning to come thick and fast.
The latest report comes out of Italy, who say that Manchester United are ready to submit a huge £39.4million bid to land Juventus’ main man Alvaro Morata.
Now 23, Morata has been making an excellent impression out in the Serie A, having found the back of the net an impressive 26 times.
Real Madrid have a buy-back option on the Spaniard, thought to be around the £24million mark, and Manchester United are ready to bid close to £40million to prise the young striker away from the Santiago Bernabeu.
He’d certainly bring some more pace to a youthful looking front line that can only get better, and it would be an excellent piece of business. Morata is a big game player and thats something we’ve lacked at times this season.
