Manchester United ready to make move for 34-year old striker

Manchester United have found scoring goals somewhat troubling during portions of the current campaign, with the likes of Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial doing all they can. However Louis van Gaal is keen to bring in reinforcements, and they don’t get much bigger than the latest name linked.

According to the French media outlet L’Equipe, Manchester United are strongly considering making a move for PSG’s main man, Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The experienced Swede is out of contract in the summer, and many believe he next destination to be England as he seeks one big pay day.

At 34 it would be a huge gamble, but judging by his performances on the highest of stages in European competition, you simply cannot knock him and its a risk worth taking.

Yes, he command high wages but he’d only be in on a short-term contract and he could well have a similar effect to that of Eric Cantona twenty years ago.
