Manchester United’s January transfer window was extremely dull, with Louis van Gaal not making any major transfer dealings in terms of incomings. However, as always, the club will be expecting an extremely busy summer window, with planning already well underway.
Spanish media outlet Mundo Deportivo say that Manchester United, alongside both Barcelona and Chelsea, will make a move for PSG’s Brazilian centre-half, Marquinhos.
The 21-year old is highly sought after around Europe, and is regarded as one of the most talented defenders in the game at the moment. It is thought that the player himself is growing increasingly frustrated with life in Paris due to a lack of playing time, and is preparing to move on.
Whoever is lucky enough to land his signature will have to fork out plenty of money however, as PSG will certainly be looking to make a profit on the €31million they paid for him.
