Jose Mourinho is looking to implement his own ideas and players into the Manchester United squad this summer, and one man who would fit that bill is Arsenal’s Aaron Ramsey. According to The Sun, Mourinho is ready to launch a huge bid for the Welsh midfielder.
They say that Ramsey will be United’s next target in case a move for Henrikh Mkhitaryan falls through. Ramsey, now 25, is thoroughly impressing at the European Championships at the moment for his country, and has really stepped up when it mattered most.
There is no doubting what ability the Wales international has, but you’d imagine Arsenal would be extremely reluctant into selling to a Premier League rival.
That means that United would have to pay through the roof to land him, and it is believed they will start with an opening offer of around £35million.
Ramsey himself probably wouldn’t be all that keen on a move at this point in tine, as Manchester United don’t have Champions League football to offer.
