Manchester United could be ready to take advantage of a rift that is building between Real Madrid and Toni Kroos, amidst interest of a summer transfer move for the German midfielder. The news comes from Fichajes, who say that Kroos feels ‘less important’ under new management.
It was thought that United were in for the 25-year old back when he left Bayern Munich for Real Madrid a couple of years ago, but eventually he chose to move to the Bernabeu over Old Trafford.
Now, having found himself out of the team, Kroos is eyeing another transfer move, and Manchester United could certainly be interested in bringing the World Cup winner to England.
There is no doubting Kroos’ talent and ability on the ball, but my concern would be that he probably doesn’t fit Louis van Gaal’s philosophy. The Iron Tulip likes his players to have pace and thats something that the German sadly doesn’t have, so I cannot see this one happening – particularly in the January window.
