Manchester United are trying to land that world class playmaker under Louis van Gaal, and although the boss hasn’t been successful in achieving that yet, it could be about to change in the not too distant future if the latest reports turn out to be true.
According to Sky Germany, Manchester United are willing to pay up to £55million to bring in Real Madrid’s central midfielder, Toni Kroos. The 26-year old has been a mainstay in Real Madrid’s starting line-up since arriving at the Bernabeu, and it’ll certainly be hard to prise him away from there.
There is no doubting that Kroos is one of the best players in his position, and if Manchester United could somehow land him it would be an absolutely fantastic bit of business.
The major concern is that Real Madrid probably won’t be looking to sell Kroos for the foreseeable future, particularly after they were hit with a two transfer window ban.
