Manchester United ready to pay whatever it takes to land world class attacker

Manchester United’s attacking line has shined at times this season, with Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford contributing to large parts of the success. However that forward area certainly still needs work, and United are ready to pay ‘whatever it takes’ to land one of the worlds best.

El Confidencial (via Sport Witness) say that Manchester United are prepared to break the bank to land Antoine Griezmann of Atletico Madrid this coming summer.

The 25-year old is having a sensational season over at the Vicente Calderon, scoring several vital goals, including the eventual winner in the Champions League semi-final last night.

With Manchester United ready to pay whatever it takes to land the Frenchman, the club could be forced to stump up around £63million which is his current release clause.

In all honesty, that doesn’t seem all that steep for a player of his calibre in the modern market, and Manchester United would have a real front line to be reckoned with for the future; Spearheaded by the French duo of Antoine Griezmann and Anthony Martial.
