The January transfer window is almost upon us, and rumours are popping up left, right and centre as we have just a few weeks to go. The latest report comes out of the Times, who say that Manchester United are planning an £8million move to bring Reece Oxford in from West Ham.
Oxford, 16, made a shock start in West Ham’s midfield at the start of the season, going on to feature in the first few games for the Hammers before being demoted to the bench.
He certainly looked the part, and did not look out of place in the Premier League, and its astounding to think that he is just sixteen years old.
It is thought that Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool are also keeping an eye on Oxford, as they seek to add homegrown players to their squad list to stay within Premier League rules.
