Manchester United Football Club returns to action this weekend, in a must-win game on the South coast. The Red Devils will take on Southampton, who could be about to pull the trigger and fire their manager, Mark Hughes.

Sparky was an excellent player for United, however, it’s fair to say in management, he has done himself no favours amongst the Old Trafford faithful. To quote Kevin Keegan, I would love it if we beat them this weekend, to see the final nail go into his coffin…

Before the game, it looks as though Hughes could be without two key players. Striker Danny Ings is set to miss the clash, while left-back Ryan Bertrand is also struggling. That’s what Saints Marching write, anyway…

Ings has been their main goal-getter this term, but don’t sleep on Manolo Gabbiadini. He almost beat us single-handedly in the EFL Cup final two seasons ago, and he certainly knows where the back of the net is.

As for Bertrand, I like him, he’s a great left-back and the game will be easier for us without having to worry about him. At this point, United need all the boosts they can get, and if these guys are missing, it certainly makes Jose Mourinho’s job that little bit easier.
