Manchester United Football Club kicked off their Premier League campaign with a 1-0 win at home to Tottenham Hotspur yesterday, but it wasn’t the most convincing of performances, suggesting that the club still need to strengthen further.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport, Manchester United have already completed their sixth signing in the form of FC Barcelona’s Pedro Rodriguez.
The 28-year old has become unhappy at being a fringe player at the Camp Nou, and he wants the move to Old Trafford to happen this summer as he needs regular playing time to make it into the Spain squad for the Euro’s next summer.
Now I’m not quite sure how an Italian media outlet will have gotten the scoop on this one before any English or Spanish press, so I’d take this one with a pinch of salt for now, although the deal does seem to be progressing.
Would Pedro be a good signing? Let us know your thoughts in the comment box below.

If you would take this one with a pinch of salt why are you bothering to report it? By your own admission the chances are that it is a load of rubbish and about as reliable as your journalistic skills, (or lack of).
