Yesterday Manchester United ruled both Ander Herrera and Phil Jones out of our top of the table clash with Leicester City later this evening, and it looks as though our injury concerns are about to get a whole lot worse if the latest reports from the Daily Mirror are true.
The Mirror say that both Marcos Rojo and Jesse Lingard will also miss the game after picking up injuries during training this week.
Rojo would be a huge miss, as it’d leave massive holes in an area of the field that is already struggling for depth. This means we could well see Daley Blind move out to left-back, and Paddy McNair partnering Chris Smalling at the heart go defence.
Lingard has been in sensational form over the last few games, and his pace would certainly have caused a real problem on the counter attack. It’ll be much tougher without him.
