Manchester United send scouts to Europa League game to check out potential signing

The January transfer window is rapidly approaching, and with Manchester United still well in the hunt for the title, Louis van Gaal will be keen to add a couple of components that could well tilt the trophy in the direction of his side.

Reports about new potential incomings are coming in thick and fast, and the latest rumour comes out of the Portuguese media outlet A Bola. They say that Manchester United had scouts at Braga’s Europa League game against Czech side Libarec, and they add that Rafa Silva was the player whom they were most likely keeping an eye on.

Rafa Silva, 22, is a central midfielder for Braga, having already amassed an impressive 114 competitive games of football already. He is making great strides in his homeland, which has led to interest of plenty of big clubs. They’ll certainly have to pay a pretty penny to land him though.
