Manchester United are a club often known for developing their own talents, and turning young stars of the world into the best players on the planet. That mantra clearly won’t be abandoned any time soon, and Louis van Gaal is clearly keen on bringing a certain prospect into Old Trafford.
That man is Renato Sanches, who currently plays his football for SL Benfica in the Portuguese league. The 18-year old midfielder has been in fantastic form for his club of late, and that has led to some of the world’s biggest sides keeping an eye on him.
Reports coming out of his homeland suggest that Manchester United have had scouts watching Sanches three times over the last two weeks alone, showing just how interested they are.
At the end of the day though, he is still talent and there is no guarantee that he will develop into one of the world’s best. First of all, its up to United to get the deal done,and then carefully develop and nurture the immense talent he obviously possesses.
