Manchester United are all set to announce Zlatan Ibrahimovic as Jose Mourinho’s second signing. The influential Swede confirmed that he will be making the move to Old Trafford via social media, and now the negotiation process should speed up considerably.
Shortly after the 34-year-old announced United as his next club, the usually reliable Craig Norwood took to Twitter to confirm that his medical is pencilled in for tomorrow. As is the contract signing.

What a stunning bit of business this is for Manchester United. The club have lacked that on-field leader for quite some time now, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be that talismanic figure going forward.
We all know that it will be nothing more than a short-term fix, but it’s a deal that certainly makes sense as it allows Marcus Rashford to continue to grow before making that step up – hopefully in the not too distant future.
