Manchester United’s attentions turn back to the Premier League this weekend, with Louis van Gaal’s side travelling to the South coast to take on Bournemouth. Eddie Howe’s side play some attractive football, but three points here is a must.
Ahead of the game, Louis van Gaal could be about to receive a major injury boost, as according to Goal UK, Wayne Rooney has returned to training following a minor injury, and is expected to play some part of the game this weekend.
The club captain missed United’s 0-0 draw at home to West Ham on Saturday, as well as the Champions League clash against Wolfsburg last night, but, with numbers up top severely depleted, his return is needed.
His form hasn’t been the best of late, and that simply has to improve as we approach the hectic winter period. At 29, he still has plenty of football in him yet, and we have to give him our full backing in the hope he can turn it around.
