Manchester United set to be without first-team trio for Norwich City game

Manchester United take on Norwich City tomorrow, in what is expected to be a chilly day at Old Trafford. Louis van Gaal met the media ahead of the game, and whilst he confirmed that Herrera, Rooney and Smalling are all available, we’re still without a key trio who aren’t back from injury just yet.

Matteo Darmian is still missing as he continues to recover from a hamstring problem, but the time on the sidelines may do him some good as his form hasn’t been great of late.

Jesse Lingard is still missing after hobbling off the field last weekend, which is a shame because he has been one of the positives over the last month or so.

Finally we’ll be without Ashley Young, who is back in training, but not quite ready to play from the start. This must be a huge loss to the Iron Tulip, as he seems to love the Englishman largely due to his versatility.
