Manchester United have been at loggerheads with David de Gea all summer-long, as the goalkeeper is still intent on leaving Old Trafford this window, and finally sealing his dream move to the Santiago Bernabeu and a move back to his home country.
According to the usually reliable Miguel Delaney, Manchester United are finally set to cave in and sell the 25-year old, for a fee in the region of £29million.
With the situation as it is and De Gea having twelve months left on his contract, a £30million fee would be good business by Manchester United, considering they could lose him on a free next summer.
The worry is that there is nowhere near enough time to replace him. Sergio Romero is a decent keeper but no more than that. Jasper Cillissen has been linked in recent weeks but is there enough time to get a deal done? Probably, but United would have to pay through the roof.
