Manchester United fans could be bracing themselves, as it looks like the news they all didn’t want to hear could happen soon. According to the Sunday People, the club could announce Ryan Giggs’ departure from the club in ‘the coming days’.
They say that close friends of the star believe Giggs is set to take a break away from football whilst he considers his future plans, before trying to get into management next year.
If true, this would bring a 29-year affiliation with Manchester United to an end, and what a shame it would be.
Turning down an offer to work with Jose Mourinho is a massive decision for him, but you feel he does have to leave Manchester United and earn his stripes elsewhere.
It looks as though the club will not offer him the management job until he has proven himself, and it’s now up to Ryan Giggs to search for a job that will fit his style.
