Manchester United have seemingly let Javier Hernandez leave Old Trafford for Bayer Leverkusen, with many fans wondering if we’ll replace the Mexican hit man. It looks as though United’s followers have got their wish – a move for AS Monaco striker Anthony Martial.
According to the French Football Federation, Anthony Martial has been given permission to leave their training camp to sign for Manchester United today.
Sky Sports also went on to say that the fee for the 19-year old is expected to be around £36million which seems steep for a player of his age.
Martial has pace, power and a real intelligence on the ball but I just hope the transfer fee doesn’t put too much pressure on his young shoulders.
He will only be backup to Wayne Rooney, but honestly, with Rooney’s current form, Anthony Martial cannot do much worse.
