Manchester United have already added Eric Bailly to the squad this summer, with Jose Mourinho keen to bring in reinforcements in the defensive third of the pitch. His recruitment in that area doesn’t stop there though, with talkSPORT linking United with a move for Ezequiel Garay.
The centre-back made the move from SL Benfica to Zenit back in 2014, and has been impressing massively since his big-money transfer.
That has led to a whole host of clubs vying to sign the Argentinian, with Inter Milan and Manchester United at the front of the queue at this point in time.
Tuttosport reckon that Garay could be available for somewhere around the £15million mark, and that would be an astute bit of business if Jose Mourinho can pull it off.
Garay would bring in some much-needed experience to a relatively young back line, and alongside Chris Smalling, it’d be a superb partnership going into the 2016/17 season.
