Manchester United sign striker after months of negotiations

Manchester United have made their first signing of the summer transfer window, and its in an area where they need reinforcements, but not in the style you’d expect. According to Blick, Manchester United have successfully brought in 16-year old striker Nishan Burkart.

Burtkart, who currently plays his football for FC Zurich, has failed to agree a new contract with his current club and is set for a move away – and his father all-but confirmed the deal.

Nishan Burkart’s father said: “We have decided to leave the club in the summer. Nishan switches to Manchester United.”

Burtkart is a player that the media probably don’t know all that much about, but Manchester United specialise in developing young talents and turning them into the best player on the planet. Hopefully this is another case of that happening, and lets see if the Swiss striker can develop nicely for the youth sides next season.
