Manchester United star forced to train alone at Carrington – report

Just under a year ago, Louis van Gaal made a bold decision when he decided to take Victor Valdes on a free transfer, and bolster our options in the goalkeeper spot. One year on, the relationship between the pair has completely broken down, and its gone from bad to worse for the Spanish veteran.

According to the Daily Mail, the 33-year old is still being forced to train on his own whenever the club are at Carrington, so he cannot see his Manchester United teammates.

This seems extremely harsh if true, but you’d imagine he is being forced to train alone so he cannot share his unhappiness with other players, and so it doesn’t rub off on the rest of the squad.

At the end of the day he was always going to be backup for as long as David de Gea was at the club, and its unfortunate that he has not played all that much, but he can’t really have expected to play week-in week-out.
