Manchester United’s derby day defeat was a real momentum killer, and Manchester City were just the better side on the day and there was nothing more to it. Onwards and upwards we go, with our Europa League campaign starting away at Feyenoord.
Ahead of that game though, Manchester United have been handed an injury blow, as Luke Shaw is likely to miss the game with a hamstring problem. That’s according to the Manchester Evening News.
It has been great watching the young left-back start the season in excellent form, particularly after he spent so long out with that horrific leg-break he suffered about twelve months ago.
Shaw has the potential to be one of the best left-backs in the world, and he’s already on the way to achieving that status, but these knocks will have an impact if they continue to happen.
Hopefully, this latest problem isn’t anything too serious, and he’ll be back and available selection come Sunday when United take on Watford.
