Manchester United star set to miss next two games through injury

Manchester United Football Club have had their fair share of injury issues over the years, and now it looks like we’ve been hit with another minor blow ahead of the EFL game against Northampton. On top of that, we could be without the man in question for a potentially tricky clash at home to current champions Leicester City.

Anthony Martial was brought off as the first half against Watford drew to a close, after suffering a nasty clash of heads. The Manchester Evening News say that the Frenchman could miss the next two games, which would be a real concern for Jose Mourinho.

What’s probably an even bigger worry at the moment is his form. He just doesn’t seem to be playing with that same freedom we saw from him last season, and that is clearly hindering him.

The £38million man was definitely the star of last season, as he scored plenty of important goals that really gave United a chance to finish in the top four. He was also the key figure in our FA Cup run – including that stunning goal against Everton in the semi-final.
