Manchester United Football Club made the decision to loan Adnan Januzaj to Borussia Dortmund back in August, but sadly that move didn’t work out for him and he is now back at Old Trafford. The 20-year old winger is now set to be recalled to the first-team squad this weekend, claim the Daily Telegraph.
The talented Belgian hasn’t been involved for Manchester United’s first-team since August, but on Monday night he must have thoroughly impressed Louis van Gaal as he scored twice for the U21s, and also won a penalty in the same game.
It seems a real shame that we loaned him out, because it feels like three months of his career has been absolutely wasted rotting on Dortmund’s bench, especially given the lack of productivity from our wingers this term.
Hopefully he can burst back onto the scene this weekend, and feature in some capacity against a talented Southampton side. Who knows, we could even see a goal from him.
