Manchester United Football Club gave birth to a near star not long ago, with Marcus Rashford bursting onto the scene, scoring four goals in his first two outings. Since then the 18-year old has played in every game, as well as netting the winner in the Manchester derby.
Many reports were suggesting that young Rashford was in line for contract talks in the summer, but according to the Daily Mirror, those talks could be pushed forward due to the young Mancunian playing the football of his life.
As you’d imagine, Manchester United want to keep their best talents at the club, and Louis van Gaal wants to get him tied down to a new long-term contract thought to be worth £15,000-a-week.
The sooner Rashford puts pen to paper on this new deal the better it’ll be for all involved. None more-so than Marcus himself who can then concentrate solely on his football until the end of the season.
