Manchester United’s U21 team are certainly far more exciting to watch at this point in time, with Warren Joyce’s men seemingly not following along with Louis van Gaal’s philosophy. That was evident last night, as his side put Norwich City’s U21s to the sword.
The main man on the evening without question was Will Keane, who has been on fire since his return to Manchester United, and he further endeared himself to the fans with an impressive five goal haul.
Keane, now 23, certainly has to impress this season if he is ever going to make it at Old Trafford, and this was certainly a huge statement from the prolific striker. He scored some stunning goals on the night, including a wonderful chip for his fourth midway through the second half.
Its been tough for Keane over the last few years with plenty of failed loan moves, but since returning he has ten goals in his six games so far, as well as adding three assists.
