Manchester United Football Club have been playing some pretty eye-catching stuff lately, and Jose Mourinho’s coaching staff and management style will have the clubs above us in the table keeping an eye on us. One man who has been missing the last couple of months through injury is Luke Shaw.
Now today in their live blog, the Manchester Evening News say that Luke Shaw is back in training at Carrington, but is currently working alone. In our opinion, this probably means that the young left-back has only recently returned, and will be working on fitness before returning to full training with the rest of the group.
Luke Shaw hasn’t had the best start to life under the Jose Mourinho regime which is a real shame. The youngster came to Old Trafford with such promise, but you get the feeling that the self-proclaimed Special One isn’t wholly convinced by what the 21-year-old has done at the club thus far.
So-much-so that both Matteo Darmian and Daley Blind seem to be above Shaw in the pecking order, and I personally wouldn’t be surprised to see the former Southampton left-back out of the door in the not too distant future.
It is a good start that he’s back in training though, and it’s up to him to keep working hard and do what he can to force his way into the managers thinking.
