Manchester United are ready to make their move for Napoli’s world class centre-forward, Gonzalo Higuain. Thats the latest news coming out of the Daily Mirror, who say that Louis van Gaal watched him take on AS Roma in the Serie A earlier in the week.
Higuain, 28, would certainly give us a top quality striker that would use all of his experience to help the youngsters around him. He’d also be that 20+ goal a season man that Manchester United have been lacking since Robin van Persie left.
The Argentinian has had a flawless season with his current side, scoring 32 times in 38 games across all competitions which is an excellent goals to games ratio.
However there would be a question mark as to whether he’d be able to do it in England – the most physical league in the world. He certainly has the build for it.
All that would come at a cost however, and no doubt Manchester United would have to pay through the roof to secure his services as he approaches the peak of his powers.
