Manchester United Football Club are extremely short in the striker department at this moment in time, having sold Robin van Persie and Javier Hernandez, whilst letting Radamel Falcao move to Chelsea after an unsuccessful loan spell at Old Trafford.
The club could be about to lose another striker, but this time on loan. James Wilson has been targeted by a whole host of Championship clubs, and reports say Manchester United are prepared to let him leave as he looks to gain that vital match experience.
After bursting onto the scene and scoring two goals on his full Premier League debut, the youngster has found his minutes limited over the last twelve months – meaning he hasn’t really been able to find match rhythm.
A loan move away would be an ideal scenario, but with United’s lack of attacking options it might be wise to keep him on the books just in case Wayne Rooney picks up a severe injury.
