Manchester United Football Club have been dealt a minor injury blow, as Wayne Rooney missed England training due to a knock, according to the Press Association.
Furthermore the Daily Mail go on to say that the 29-year old striker is a doubt to take on Estonia later on in the week.
Obviously Rooney’s form has come into question on multiple occasions at time this season, and its certainly fair to say he has under performed for the most part – but hopefully this is just a blip for the England record holder.
At the end of the day this has happened plenty of times during his career, and more often than not he fights harder, works more and usually re-finds that form we all know he has. He is more than capable of doing the same again and silencing his doubters in the not too distant future.
