Manchester United Football Club have had a superb three months under Jose Mourinho, with the club making some outstanding signings, and putting in some brilliant performances on the field. We saw Paul Pogba come to the club in a world record deal, but our spending isn’t done just yet.
Reports earlier in the week suggested that Manchester United wanted to sign Antoine Griezmann, however, that deal doesn’t look like happening until next summer at the very earliest – as the man himself has ruled out a transfer in January.
The 25-year-old also went even further, and said that he will not be leaving Atletico Madrid for as long as Diego Simeone is still manager at the Vicente Calderon.
At the end of the day, his loyalty has to be applauded. It is well documented that he is a huge Manchester United fan, and you’d imagine one of his dreams would be to walk out in the red of our famous football club.
For the time being, we’ll just have to remain patient, but you do get the feeling that Antoine Griezmann will be a Manchester United player at some point during his career.
