Manchester United targeting two Tottenham Hotspur players in £60million move

The January transfer window is in full swing, with Premier League sides trying to make moves to bolster their squads. It all seems rather quiet on the buying front for Manchester United, as in my opinion, Jose Mourinho seems quite content with his squad.

However, that hasn’t stopped him targeting two of the best full-backs in the country. According to The Sun, Manchester United are ready to challenge Manchester City for the signatures of both Danny Rose and Kyle Walker.

The report doesn’t specify as to whether these two will be targeted during this window, which I highly doubt because it’s notoriously tough to sign new players in the mid-season window. You’d probably imagine summer moves are more likely, but even then, it won’t be easy.

Spurs are a side who are known for tough negotiations, and that’ll likely be the same again here. The Sun say that it’ll take £60million to even tempt Daniel Levy into parting with his prized assets, and I even think that’s probably quite of a low sum…

Both Englishman are having a great season up until this point, and I honestly don’t see why they’d even consider moving right now. Under Mauricio Pochettino, they are flourishing, and although I’d love to see either one of them at the club, I just don’t see any movement on these deals anytime soon.
