Manchester United to make sensational move for proven Spaniard

Manchester United could be in the market for a new striker this summer, with only one player getting into double figures in terms of Premier League goals (Martial,10). Whether Louis van Gaal is in charge or not, this is a situation that needs to be addressed.

According to the usually reliable Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Manchester United, as well as the likes of Arsenal and Chelsea, could be interested in signing Juventus’ Alvaro Morata.

The 23-year old is thought to favour a move to the Premier League because he fancies a crack at playing in the physical English league.

However he would not come cheap. Real Madrid are ready to activate a £25million buy-back clause they have in Morata’s contract, before trying to sell him on for closer to the £40million mark.

In terms of style of play Morata has plenty of pace, a real deadly finish and brilliant ability to link up with his teammates. He’d be perfect for Manchester United.
