Manchester United to make winter move for speedy attacker

Manchester United shown a solid interest in Southampton’s Sadio Mane over the summer, and they even went as far as making a bid for the speedy attacker – but that was immediately knocked back and Louis van Gaal then looked elsewhere.

However, according to reports in Spain, Manchester United are ready to reignite that interest when the transfer window opens in January, as they have been pleased what they have seen from the Senegalese international.

Mane has made a fantastic start to the season, despite the fact that he probably had his head turn by the aforementioned interest, particularly in his last outing against Chelsea – where he grabbed two fantastic assists in the 3-1 win.

The price could prove to be a stumbling block however, with United probably having to fork over around £30million if not more to land their man in the middle of the season, as its a time where clubs don’t particularly like selling their players.
