Gareth Bale has given Manchester United a huge boost, by claiming that he’d be open to a move to Old Trafford come the summer according to The Express. The Wales international has been made aware of heavy interest from United, and the £80million man could switch the white of Madrid for the Red of United after just two years in Spain.
This is a transfer rumour I find extremely hard to believe. If Bale wanted to move to United why didn’t he do it in the summer he moved for Real Madrid. It was widely reported that United offered more than Real for Bale that year, but the Welshman opted for a move to Spain instead.
The opportunity to play with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modric was too big of a chance to turn down, and that was justified when La Decima was delivered in May.
Honestly I can’t see this one happening anytime soon. Bale has always confessed a love for Real Madrid and I’d be very surprised if he’d be prepared to give that up so easily.
