Manchester United fans have been calling for the head of Louis van Gaal at times this season, due to a whole host of poor results, and if truth be told – boring performances. However, according to The Times, the board at Old Trafford are prepared to stick with the Iron Tulip.
Despite the availability of Jose Mourinho and Pep Guardiola in the summer, the hierarchy at Manchester United believe that Ryan Giggs is the man to take over at the club when Louis van Gaal steps down as boss.
This would be a huge gamble, and although he was one of the best in the world as a player, management is completely different as he will no doubt find out.
I just hope that it doesn’t tarnish his legacy as a player if he doesn’t succeed as a boss, because it would be a huge dampener on his extremely successful Manchester United career.
