Yes, you read that correctly. Manchester United will go head-to-head with European Champions Bayern Munich in the quarter-final stage of this seasons Champions League. In perhaps what is the worst possible draw for United, Moyes’ men will play the first leg of the tie at Old Trafford on the 1st or 2nd of April.
After overcoming Olympiacos, United made it eight of eight group winners to progress through to the quarter-finals, and there was obviously going to be no easy games. We’ve certainly been handed the toughest of the lot though, and we’ll have to be on our A-game to stand a chance.
Bring them on, at least we have one of those special nights at Old Trafford to look forward to. Who knows, we may even manage to beat them!
