Manchester United are a club known to develop their own talents and bring players through their ranks, and the latest star making a name for himself is Jesse Lingard. The 23-year old winger has been injured recently, but Louis van Gaal has confirmed he is back involved and ready to go.
“Phil Jones is injured. Jesse Lingard has trained all week and is ready.” Louis van Gaal said.
It’ll be great to have Lingard back. In the games he played a month or so ago he looked a real threat, and the was largely down to his bravery and attack-minded approach.
He was in his best form just before he picked up the injury, having scored his first goal at home to West Bromwich Albion with a pearler of a shot.
Hopefully he can be involved in some capacity tomorrow, because his directness could well be a cause for concern for the Sheffield United back line.
